Tours that accomodate you
Self Drive Tour
This is suitable for either an individual or a group of up to 10 people with any budget accommodated. With this tour we work with you to fully customize the tour for your group, organizing tee times, accommodation, non-golf activities, rental car and anything else you may need.
We are a phone call away if you need us.
Guided / Gemi-Guided Tour
This is suitable for a group of any size. This tour is much the same as the self drive tour but you will have a driver and a Golf Tours New Zealand guide who will be with you for the duration of the tour (guided) or have local private transfers at each location (semi-guided).
The advantage of this is that you can sit back, relax and concentrate on your golf game while we do all the driving, dinner and lunch arrangements, or alternative activities while in destination.

About us
Abbey Hay
We’re golf enthusiasts, born and bred Kiwis, and expert travel brokers rolled into the one team.
When golf was a sport for old men, pre the big craze we have seen in recent years, I, ( Abbey co founder ) was your typical golf widow as my husband ( Beau Hay co founder ) was always out on the greens while I was always out traveling as a pretty successful international travel agent for a big brand.
I thought I had to get on this Golf action if only just to see my husband between trips!
Then having visited some of the most beautiful courses in NZ and in South Pacific with him, I was taken with the sport and how stunning our backyard was.
I would meet more keen golfers and arrange amazing trips to different luxury golf destinations around the world and Fiji became a real niche for me to create stunning golf itineraries.
I realised quickly though that here in New Zealand we have an amazing opportunity to create incredible golf tour memories to last a life time in some of the best back drops this beloved game sees.
And then Golf Tours New Zealand was born.
